On October 17, 2024, Infraset Public Company Limited (INSET) successfully organized its first annual ESG INSET Community Service Project at the Royal Thai Army Nature Education Center (Bang Pu). A total of 31 employees participated in various recreational activities designed to promote environmental learning and conservation.
The event was graced by a distinguished guest speaker from the Foundation for Environmental Education for Sustainable Development (FEED), who provided valuable insights into the significance of mangrove forests, the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit them, and the severe threat posed by marine pollution.
Following the informative session, employees embarked on a field trip to the mangrove forest education center to gain a firsthand understanding of the mangrove ecosystem. Guided by knowledgeable experts, participants explored the rich biodiversity of the mangrove forest and witnessed the skeletal remains of a beaked whale that had perished from ingesting marine debris. This poignant display served as a stark reminder of the devastating impact of pollution on marine life.
A highlight of the event was the hands-on participation of employees in a beach cleanup. Together, they collected a remarkable 259 kilograms of marine litter, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship.
This initiative underscores INSET's dedication to environmental sustainability and fosters a sense of environmental responsibility among its employees. By actively engaging in conservation efforts, INSET is contributing to the creation of a more sustainable future
